The supernatural performer series kicks off later this month with two Katy Perry-themed boxing and flow workouts.
The subscription-based VR fitness platform Supernatural is launching a new series of monthly workouts featuring music from popular artists such as The Weeknd, Lady GaGa and Swedish House Mafia, to name a few. Each “Supernatural Artist Series” workout playlist will be choreographed to music by a single artist, starting with pop superstar Katy Perry.
According Billboard, players will have a choice of two new workouts later this month. The boxing workout will feature popular Katy Perry tracks “Roar” and “I Kissed a Girl.” Flow Training, on the other hand, will have you smash targets and dodge obstacles to the beat of “Unconditionally” and “Teenage Dream.”
“Katy is one of the most electrifying artists of her generation, with uplifting anthems that uplift fans,” Supernatural founder and CEO Chris Milk said in an interview with Billboard. “She is a known ally for the LQBTQIA+ community and compels the kind of self-love and acceptance that thrives within the supernatural community. We are thrilled to have her kick off our Artist Series.
The Supernatural Performer Series kicks off June 27 with two Katy Perry-themed workouts. As previously mentioned, Supernatural will feature new music from renowned artists every month. Here is what awaits us for the rest of the year:
- Imagine Dragons – July 2022
- The weekend – August 2022
- Swedish house mafia – September 2022
- Kid Cudi- October 2022
- Cold game – November 2022
- Lady Gaga – December 2022
“Music has always been an integral part of Supernatural, and since its launch, we’ve dreamed of ways to allow our athletes to connect more with the music of the artists they love,” Milk added. “Supernatural uses virtual reality to help people find joy in movement, and when you combine that joy with a playlist dedicated to one of your favorite artists, the exhilaration reaches whole new heights.”
