How to Get Tickets to the Ludacris Hip Hop Show in Iowa This September

If you see headlights and hear crowds in Clive on the last day of summer, it’s because Ludacris is passing.

Hip-hop artist Ludacris will bring his DTP tour to central Iowa on September 22 when the pop icon arrives at the Horizon Events Center, 2100 NW 100th St., in Clive.

Beginning his rise to fame with his music career in the late 90s, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges became known for songs like “Phat Rabbit”, “Rollout” and “My Chick Bad”.

Since, the hip-hop entertainer has won three Grammy Awards, including two in 2007 when he won Best Rap Song for “Money Maker” and Best Rap Album with “Release Therapy.”

His last album “Ludaversal” was released in 2015.

Over the past decade, Ludacris’ pop presence has grown even further through his continued appearances as Tej Parker in the “Fast & Furious” franchise. He made his debut in 2003’s “2 Fast 2 Furious” and returned to the series eight years later with “Fast Five” and went on to appear in all subsequent films and is set to star in next year’s penultimate entry, “Fast X”.

As an actor, he also appeared in “Crash”,“Hustle & Flow” and is currently the host of the competition show “Fear Factor”.

Ludacris is also credited as the creator of the Netflix children’s animated show “Karma’s World” which was inspired by his daughter and which Ludacris produced the music for.

Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. starting at $79 and will be available at ticketweb.com. The planned capacity for the show is 2,800 people.
